Saint Gits Engineering College, located in the scenic Kottukulam Hills, Pathamuttom, Kottayam, undertook a noteworthy project in 2020 with the design and installation of Global Labs System Technology- GLC System, an Integrated System of Anaerobic & Aerobic biodegradation process (GLC). 

Saint Gits Engineering College in Changanassery exemplifies a profound commitment to social responsibility and environmental protection. Demonstrating a proactive approach, the college has implemented state-of-the-art Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) at both its main campus and the Gent’s hostel campus. These facilities ensure efficient treatment and reuse of wastewater for gardening and conservation purposes, significantly reducing the ecological footprint. Building on this foundation, St. Gits is now in the commissioning stages of their third STP, further solidifying their dedication to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.
