Carmel College Mala, a first-grade Autonomous college for both Girls & Boys under the University of Calicut, is nestled in the idyllic locale of Mala, near the southern tip of Thrissur district.

STP

Carmel College has implemented a waste Water Treatment Unit on its campus. This initiative focuses on treating and reusing wastewater efficiently.

The Water Recycling Unit helps reduce the environmental impact of wastewater by treating it to high standards.

The treated water is then reused for non-potable purposes, such as gardening and irrigation.

By reusing water in this way, Carmel College contributes to water conservation and sustainable practices.
