This treatment plant working as per   Global Labs System Technology- GLC System, an Integrated System of Anaerobic & Aerobic biodegradation process (GLC).

A Green Oasis -Spice Village is  nestled amidst the lush hills of Thekkady, near the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Here’s what makes this resort truly special:

Eco-Friendly Design: The resort’s STP was installed in 2010 by Global Labs & Consultants. Instead of constructing a new facility, they ingeniously repurposed existing Imhoff tanks. These tanks were transformed into a sustainable wastewater treatment system, minimizing the resort’s ecological footprint.

Model for Others: Spice Village’s STP project exemplifies how creativity, resourcefulness, and environmental consideration can transform wastewater management. By utilizing existing infrastructure, the resort not only minimized costs but also demonstrated a commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the region.
